Only one bespoke project can save Altrad-Plettac’s fleet of scaffolding from this broken fate…and that is the Clavex 68.0 8-person table. Damaged by years of rental, they have become unsuitable for perching a worker in the sky, but retain all their structural advantages closer to the ground. This is where Maximum sees the opportunity to create a unique piece. A glass partition is cut to fit the space it creates. Hardened for safety reasons, it cannot be cut back. When removed, these glass panels, even if in perfect condition, end up at the waste disposal centre. They fall victim to their fixed dimensions, and reuse is then impossible.
The epoxy paint is a powder that is sprayed onto the steel parts before being baked at 200°C. During this spraying process, it is sprayed onto the glass panels. During this spraying process, part of the powder is blown into the suction circuits, mixing with the days in the recovery tanks. The mixture obtained is perfectly reusable. You just have to accept that each colour is unique and unpredictable.
